Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (YM) is a global container shipping company based in Taiwan. It was founded in 1972 and has since grown to become one of the world's largest container shipping companies, operating a fleet of over 100 vessels with a total capacity of more than 700,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units), which is near 3% of global market
